Our little Allie is 4 Months Old! Oh my goodness I love this girl! She turned 4 months old on the 23rd, and we had her well check up this past Wednesday. She checked out perfectly little...or little compared to the other two! She weighed 13 lbs 2 oz(38%) and was 25 inches long(75%). Feels weird not to be at the top of the charts! FYI Davis at 4 months: 17 lbs 14 oz(>97%) and 26 in(93%). Haley: 16 lbs 4 oz(93%) and 26 in(95%).
She is a trooper with our on the go lifestyle. Typical 3rd child I guess. Her first two naps of the day get interrupted several days a week dropping off and picking up the other two at school. She enjoys movement(and mommy) to soothe her to sleep during the day and has a little trouble getting herself to sleep in her crib. When she does fall asleep, its typically a mini 45 min nap. At night however, she nurses and gets herself to sleep quite easily. Still loves her swing! A little inconsisent with nighttime sleep for the past 3 weeks or so. Went a couple good weeks sleeping 11hrs/night, then went a solid week up once or twice a night, then a few days of allnighters, then up twice last night. Hmm Growth spurt? Vaccines? She eats like a champ and goes right back to sleep so maybe just hunger. Still eating every 2-3 hrs during the day so averages 6 or 7 feeds/day. Still nursing! Hooray :) Goal #1=6 months. Will continue if its still going well.
Not turning over yet. Almost a first today! Loves chewing on her hands and beginning to put everything in her mouth. Starting to reach out and touch toys. Enjoys grabbing her hands. Loves playing airplane, standing up, and playing pat-a-cake. Started to giggle :) Good head control and can sit with assitance. Will fall forward or to the side if left alone. Loves when we sing to her. Will strike up a conversation sometimes. Observant and chill unless overtired.
Some of my most treasured moments are nursing this little one... This is my first 100% nursing experience and I must say that I truly love it now! Painfree and full of special times with this little one. Just love it when she is satisfied and looks up, smiles and gazes at me for a good few minutes. She'll sometimes just start "talking" as if to tell me all about her day. Its these quiet moments that make all the hard times worth it.

Lauren, great pics... your family is beautiful! I do say that you finally have one that looks like your hubby!! :) Surely he is excited to show off his genes!
So sweet. Glad the nursing is going so well for you. Little Allie is darling and I love the hair difference between the girls! I still say Haley looks the most like Matt though. Need to get the little ones together sometime!
