Haley 3 year update and stats



So our Haley is 3!  We had her well check up last week on the same day as Allie's 1 year check up...umm MISTAKE and won't do that again.  Weights+height check+nurse questions+vision screen+urine sample+20 minute wait for nurse to get shots+Allie tired and ready for nap+Haley screaming in anticipation of shots=a rough morning trip to the ped.  So on to her stats:  39 lbs 8 oz(97%) and 40 in(97%).  So still on top. 

What's she up to?  Sleeps 8-645...with one trip to the potty-still naps about 2 hrs/day-enjoys music-can finally sit and watch a tv show(Doc McStuffins is the new hit show in our house)-beginning to enjoy reading books(loves Berenstain Bears Go to the Doctor and will tell me with a grin on her face to keep it on a certain page because she likes it)-not a breakfast eater but wants her "juice"(50% water) first thing in the morning-becoming picky with foods-loves pasta-pizza-lemonade-sweets-doesn't eat PB&J(what???)-not a sandwhich girl-loves crafts-loves playing in the baby pool at Davis' swim practices-loves flowers-likes to do things herself-hates having her hair brushed-"do I have to wash my hair tonight?"-loves to cuddle and be held.

Haley is strongwilled yet sweet and tenderhearted.  We have multiple tantrums a day(oh joy!) but I try to tell myself that her stubborn-strongwilled-fiery personality + her desire to care for others will be a good thing in the future.  Tough now but this determined and stubborn mama isn't one to give in too easily. 

Sweetheart-You're a big helper to mommy and I love holding you even though you're told to "wait just a minute" quite often.  May I never get too busy to stop and Be Still with you.  We LOVE you Haley!  You're only 1 year away from getting 2 vitamins :) ...and maybe less tantrums.  Come on 4 :)
