Allie 9 Month Update

I just love the pic above.  Shows Allie's fun loving personality that's coming out :)  We had her 9 month check up Monday morning, and she checked out perfectly.  Definitely smaller than our other two giants.  Stats: 18 lbs 4 oz (39%) and 28 in long (65%).  Her head falls in the 41st percentile at 17.2 in.  The girl is army crawling faster and faster and putting everything in site in her mouth.  I have to watch her like a hawk!  She finds all of our missing tiny rubber hair bands and just loves all the tracked in dirt and such from the front yard.  We started practicing sliding down the stairs this week.  Loves watching the other two race down.  She cut her first tooth on the 22nd(the night before she turned 9 months old) and has a couple on the top and one more on the bottom that are about to pop through.  Rough night last night..  Davis didn't handle the top two coming in very well either.  Ouch!

What else is this girl up to?  Loves to eat!  Still nursing 4-5x/day and eats like a champ.  Eating a LOT of table food now-started meats(ground beef and chicken) last week, and she absolutely devoured the chicken.  Enjoys bread, cheese, carrots and lots of different types of cut up fruit.  Went to town on oranges the other day!  Screamed if I took one away...tried to keep her from biting a piece off.

1st taste of CFA :)

She has tried some beans and I've given her some peas too...Its amazing how kids just know to throw them!  She'd eat a few but a bunch ended up on the floor.

Can stand but not pulling up yet.  Starting clapping her hands(or one hand and one fist) this week and "saying" yeah.  Says "mama" and "dada" and making more and more sounds.  Sleep 7-6:30 most days and takes 2 naps of 1-2hrs.
