PlayDate

So Davis(chunkier) and I went to Suzanne and Reese's(chunk) house to play. Liz and Emery joined in on the fun as well. They actually acknowledged each other today and tried to reach out and touch the other's face. Just a smiling the whole time. They're in a "touch the face" stage right now...and hair..ouch! So very curious.

They can both sit up and stand with assistance and would prefer not to just lie on the floor. I have a feeling we will be very busy this summer chasing them around the house. Good thing the pool will be open. That should help burn off some energy. Can't wait to teach Davis how to swim. Maybe summer league in a couple years :) Not this year, crazy uncle Landon!

Got in a run at the gym before our playdate. Dropped Davis at KidsClub for the 2nd time. He seems to enjoy it in there and took a brief nap which was good. Saw Kate and ran next to her on the treadmill. About 5 months pregnant(with another girl :) and just running away. Its so nice to have a training buddy.

Thought for the day...Why is it that people say they "slept like a baby" when babies wake up every few hours?
