3 Months

Allie is 3 months old!  She is definitely a keeper :)  Could kiss her little face all day long! 

What's she up to?  She found her hands and can now bring them mid line to touch each other.  And loves to try and suck them.  Hasn't found her thumb yet...SO hoping she finds it soon.  Davis and Haley both found their thumb at 3 months and dropped the paci.  Helped immensely with self soothing for naps and middle of night wake ups.  Speaking of naps...she naps great in the swing and we're working on crib naps.  A work in progress.  She'll fall asleep for 20-45 min and then wake up and not go back to sleep unless I put her in the swing.  We've moved bedtime to around 8pm.  Nurse her to sleep and she goes right down in her crib(no more nap nanny..yeah!).  Wakes up around 2 or 3 for quick 15 min feed and then sleeps until 7 or 8.  Not bad though I'd love the 2 to move closer to sunrise. 

She's getting stronger too and can put a little pressure on her legs.  Has a strong little kick and can lift her legs into the air to kick toys on her play mat.  And beginning to try and touch toys hanging from play mat.  Neck is getting stronger and can handle tummy time longer than 10 seconds.  Neck tends to lean toward the right side, so we're working on positioning so we don't head down the PT route.  Beginning to arch on occasion when she is on her back.  Maybe she'll turn over in the next few weeks.  Tummy for sleep always helps!
