Haley and I visited my OB for another checkup this morning. 24 weeks and 3 days! Cervix check=closed=good! Feeling great and love feeling little Allie move around inside :) We have a few 24 weekers in the unit, and I just can't imagine delivering right now. Crazy! What do they look like??? Eyes unfused, very thin pink skin, lungs very immature and require ventilation, a little over 1lb, blood pressure and volume issues, survival rate is around 50% with months in the NICU and high possibility of developmental problems down the road. Not a good picture.
Very glad Allie is cozy inside :)

Great news all around! yay! You are carrying low again just like last time, you should see me, I look 28 weeks pregnant I'm carrying so high.

I love your updates about what the NICU babies look like at each point along the way. Well, not really, because it makes me sad to hear in many ways, but it's so intriguing to know what our babies look like as they're growing inside. How amazing is our God! And how amazing is modern medicine that we can keep those sweet babies alive even 50% of the time - wow!!!
You look great, by the way!
