Long days of winter

I guess technically the days are shorter but when you're stuck inside and REALLY want to bask in the warmth and sunshine of spring, the days seem LONG.  What do we do all day???  Multiple trips to the mall to play at the indoor playground..we always hope samples of pretzels and cookies are out :), special trips to Starbucks for a smoothie and Rice Krispy treat and donuts, Play dates with all our friends..SO SO thankful for a group of amazing women to share this journey of motherhood with! Walks through the local pet store to see all the fish, gerbils and birds, library at least once a week(we only last about 15 minutes thanks to a special someone who likes to take movies out of the cases, run through the aisles, and pull books off the shelves..to her credit, she is learning), story time, movies and a little more tv than normal, books books and more books, homemade cookies and treats, etc.

We've enjoyed the snow this month, but warmer temps sound very good right now.  Doubtful with February coming..at least Valentines is coming up

On another note, Haley has gone tee tee and poop on the potty!  We're so proud of her!  Not taking this too seriously and will let her tell us when she is ready, but we've got the "potty jar" and she'll get a treat every time she uses the potty.  Davis encourages her to "go poop on the potty".  He is a SUPER big brother!

From the cute pictures, you've kept them busy and happy throughout this long, cold stretch of winter. And Opa and I can hardly wait for our next play date!
