We enjoyed a mini getaway at my g'parents mountain house last week. About an hour and a half north of us in Sky Lake. Spent just one night, but it was wonderful to get away from the every day routine around here. Mama Lu(my mom) was off for Spring Break, so she and Opa were there as well. Helps to have an extra hand with the kiddos! Wish Daddy could have joined us...the whole work thing got in the way..
Davis enjoyed casting his fishin' pole but wasn't so sure about the fish my mom and dad caught. He also had a blast on our little hike around the lake. Haley enjoyed visiting with Nana and Opop and checking out the new place.

What a wonderful treat for us! We enjoyed every minute of having you here. Surely do hope you will come back this summer. LOVED having and loving those precious children. They were so good. Love you all.

Great time together. Glad the fish Haley is looking at is not typical of the kind you catch in Sky Lake.
