1 Year Stats

Davis had his 1 yr ped apt last week. He weighed 27lb 1oz(93%) and was 32.5in(98%) tall! He isn't walking yet, but is cruising everywhere. Or like our ped said...oh he is totally walking..just faking it and acting like he has to touch something to cruise around.

What is he up to? Loves trucks! Reads about them in his truck books and then goes to play with them and then back to the book. Wants to fully understand how they work I guess. Sways his arms to mimic an airplane. Wants to be outside constantly. The more dirt around the better. Crawls over concrete, through grass, over sticks. (hello?...doesn't that hurt your knees..apparently they're too calloused to feel anything). Has become a little parrot these days trying to repeat everything we say. Can say a good bit of words-mama, dada, truck, baba, ball, baby, duck, book, dog, puppy, stick, pumpkin, and yes are a few. He loves music and dances whenever he hears it. Loves his blanket and right thumb(reminds me of someone else I know...ahem..me). Just started to show a little separation anxiety this past week. They say it peaks around 15months so yippee here we come.

Matt is bulldozing through classes. A tough semester filled with papers and projects and lots of busy work from professors who don't have a life. He is a champ!

Me. Chasing Davis around. He had a bad double ear infection this past week, so we're fighting that and a snotty cold. Go away boogies!! Heading to NC later this week to cheer on Landon and Thomas as they race in the IRONMAN, Beach to Battleship. Looking forward to the mini vacation.
